First Snow

And then the snow fell, and fell some more, followed with sleet for a twenty-four hour period. Now it's a winter wonderland with almost eight crusty inches on the ground! Being retired puts a whole new perspective on the situation. Not having to drive anywhere (like WORK!) and being allowed to sip the coffee leisurely makes the snow-covered roads and landscape appealing to sight!

This morning hubby and I took our dog for his first adventure into belly-high snow. Max took awhile to acclimate himself, but before too long he was having fun!

Crisp and clean, invigorating and inviting.....for a day. Then I'm onto the Net, surfing locations such as St. Pete's Beach and the Florida Keys to wait out the winter months until spring arrives!
