Siblings
The family got together yesterday...played 18 holes at Governor's Run, followed by lunch at the Copper Dock Winery. Good food, good friends (family!) and good time!

Reelfoot Lake
We've just arrived home from Reelfoot lake in Tennessee. Our small group fished for bluegill and crappie for several days, The weather was cooperative, but the fish weren't. Scott and Jason did well while the rest of us suffered with the fish count! The lake is beautiful--filled with lily pads and cypress trees. Occasionally one spots a bald eagle soaring above and other creatures below! Pics are compliments of Peggy! Great photography!

Back to Routine
We've been home now for two weeks. Everything has been unpacked and put away; the stack of mail has been sorted; bills have been paid, the garden tilled, the potatoes planted, the tomato plants bought (but not planted!) and the list goes on.... Easter was good; we had Larry's family over for dinner and all went well.
The crappie in the cove have been biting; matter-of-fact, on Thursday we caught enough for dinner that night. Our boat is still in storage, but due to come out next week. We're taking it on a fishing trip to Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee the last week of April. Scott, Jason, Dale & Peggy, and us will be sharing a cabin. Should be fun. We have one more month of leisure before Larry takes his scan. Let's all hope for good news.

Home Again
Sunday we arrived home after traveling three days from the Florida Keys. Our month there was tremendous and jam-packed with fishing, beachin', shopping, sight-seeing, etc. The weather was fantastic and the island-life was "toadally " laid-back. Being on R & R is good, but it is also nice to be back home for awhile...

Fishful Thinking!
Already we are half-way through our Keys vacation. Where did the time go??? Needless to say we are really enjoying our days/nights here. Actually we are kept so busy! This coming week we are having guests: John and Val as well as Scott and Tina. We are looking forward to their visit. Larry and I have been doing some fishing on the Atlantic side on our friend's boat with Capt. Paul. Interesting fish out there in every variety of color, too. We also were fortunate to buy some huge stone crabs and lobster tails fresh off the boat! What a treat!

Golfing In North Port. Florida
Larry and I finally arrived in North Port at 3:00 on Wednesday night. We spent an enjoyable three days/nights with my sister, Jan, and her hubby, Lee. Did the usual..bought and planted my herbs to take to the Keys...did a round of golf at Myaka Golf Clun. It's amazing golfing Florida--all sorts of critters abound!
