Golfing In North Port. Florida

Spent the past three days golfing on Myakka Pines Golf Club with family--sister Jan and brother-in-law Lee.  My golf game sucks but playing in the sunshine and warm temperatures exquisite!

Sun-shiney Day!

The minute we hit Valdosta, Georgia, the sunshine started peeking through the clouds.  As we crossed the Florida state line, there it was in full-bloom!  Temperature hit the 83 degree mark and we knew we were set for a wonderful vacation.  Before we head down to the Keys, Larry and I are spending a few days with my sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Lee, in North Port.  Golf is on the agenda for three days; I surely hope I hit the ball well and the 'gators leave me alone!

We're Back!

On Sunday night we arrived home after spending a week in the beautiful Dominican (Punta Cana).  Sun 'n surf galore!  Good times, good food and good friends!  We unpacked, did laundry, some ironing---then repacked for the next leg of our journey, the Florida Keys.  Stay tuned for more blogs on our adventures in the Keys...

Winter's Icing

Layers of ice this past week, and today we're hit with another 5 inches of snow!  Wow, what a winter!
